I like both, but Nathaniel just comes more naturally to me, and that's the way I usually see it spelled.

Nathaniel looks much better to me, if only because that's the way I have always seen it spelled. I think you would have less spelling problems with it. People who have a tendency to spell it this way.

Which one do you prefer? Well a couple months ago I preferred the spelling Nathaniel, then I changed my mind and started liking Nathanael better. But now I'm back to liking the spelling Nathaniel. Why? Nathaniel looks more like it's said. Also Nathanael looks slightly strange to me because of the 3 a's.What one looks better? Nathaniel

I prefer Nathaniel.
The 'a's in Nathanael make it kind of blend together in my opinion. Also, 'ana' really stands out to me.

Nathaniel. It will be spelled correctly 100% more often than Nathanael.Nathanael looks better to me. I actually like this a lot, but the misspelling thing makes me choose the more traditional form.

I prefer Nathaniel, of course. It's the conventional spelling. Nathanael looks mangled.
