You mean Charlotte? I personally haven't seen Charolette before. I really don't care for this spelling/variation of Charlotte. I think that it should be left as Charlotte.
A girl named Charlie might dislike having a typically masculine first name, so I think that it's best to use a feminine name (Charlotte, Charla, etc.) that allows her to be called Charlie. If she decides that she doesn't want to be called Charlie, she can always go back to her full name whether it be Charlotte or something else.
BTW Charlotte is nms (I think of the word "harlot"), but I prefer it to just Charlie for a girl.
