How would you pronounce Annika?
Like (minus the first letter) Monica or Danica? Or differently?

ANN-ih-kah. But I've also heard it as AHN-ih-kah and ah-NEE-kah.

I prefer the Finnish pronunciation of AHN-ee-kah, though I know that is hardly the norm elsewhere.

Like AHN-ee-kah, but then I'm Swedish. English-speaking probably pronounce it differently.

More like Danica, IMO. I knew an "Anyka".

I default to the the "ann" pronunciation but use and hear the "on" pronunciation as well.

my friend's name is Anneke (on-a-kah) i think it might be the same thing my first impression of Annika is (ann-ick-ah)

my first instinct is to pronounce it to rhyme with Danica. but I could also see it pronounced ann-ee-kuh.

I pronounce it ANN-i-kuh (I suppose like Danica without the D). This is the only way I've ever heard it pronounced in my area (southern US), but I really don't know many people by this name.

I would say Anne-ick-ah
