My "little sister"...

... is named Bridgette. I like the name ok... I like that it isn't super common or made up. I don't like that it rhymes with midget.

Thank you.The fact that it rhymes with midget is out. My family are huge rhymers. I'm called Favy. My niece, Mary Miranda, is called Panda. My nephew, Ikey (short for Isaac) is Bikey. Etc, etc, etc. Bridget, especially if she was short, would be midget forever.Siri

Ironically...This makes me like the name even more! LOL. I've always loved Bridget. It's also the name of our family dog (who has now passed away). I think 'midget' is a cute term of endearment so I'll probably call my children that anyway... for fun. :) I feel like if you let your children know of silly nicknames when they're younger, than by the time they get to elementary school and kids start teasing, it won't bother them. Anyway, I think Bridget is adorable even if you're not using it anymore. :)*reyanna*

Good Point.......I'm still called Salad by my brothers, and I actually don't mind anymore. I'll even sign Christmas presents Salad. I used to hate it though, and wish people would stop calling me those names. However, every teenager goes through that problem. And I'm in love with Bridget Elise, too. Ken doesn't like it, of course.ARGH!Siri
