I like it a lot. It's one of those older names that still sounds appealing and youthful.
Makes me think of a Valley Girl. :-/ And also of the 70s. :b But I wouldn't be upset at all to see a baby girl with this name nowadays.
I like it - it's a very pretty, "strong" name. I would use it as a middle name.
It's a nice name, but a bit too common for me.
Valerie is my daughter's name, so that should tell you something. :)
I like it on someone else's child. I don't dislike it, but I find it a tad boring for my own. I also really, really dislike the NN Val, and I'd fear that. Overall, though, a nice enough choice.
Magnanimous Despair alone could show me so divine a thing, where feeble hope could ne'er have flown, but vainly flapped its tinsel wing.

I love Valerie. I know two, both of whom strike me as wonderful, creative people, and I think of Valerie Susan Page when I hear it, too. :)

I want to be be more like a river--
Less like a wall--
Not trying to hold back these feelings at all.
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

I like it. It's not one that stands out to me but it's alright.
That's by the Monkees.
It's spelled Valleri in the song.

LMAO . . .
Nice description, and when you put it that way, that describes exactly how I feel about it too. It's just too 'blah' for me.

Oh my, for the remainder of the night I'm probably in danger of describing names/combos using food examples, LOL.
It didn't help that I had a nice cup of Vanilla Hazelnut tea in front of me as I typed (that needed a spot of sugar and milk, no joke). XD

You have definitely made me thirst for tea now . . . :)

You must drink tea then!
I had about six cups of iced tea at the holiday party today at my workplace. When I got home, I was iced out. Hot tea is a perfect way to wind down your day. Besides, people keep giving me boxes of tea because they know I love the stuff and now I have two cabinets devoted to the likes of tea. So, I need to drink it so I don't have to throw it away! :)
