I think it's quite lovely, though not a huge favorite. I usually dislike "K" names, but I actually prefer Karina to Carina. That's probably partly because the "carina" is a body part, and I am a nurse. :-/ BTW, it's the place where the trachea separates into the lungs, but it's pronounced cah-RYE-nah.

I think Carina is so pretty but like you, I sometimes find it a tad TOO sweet sounding.

I know a Carina, and a Kareena. I dislike it.

I like Carina. It's sweet, but not sickly sweet. Carina Serenity sounds a bit prissy to me, how about Carina Elodie, Carina Imogen or Carina Amaryllis?

I love Carina but prefer Karina. This was on our baby name list. Carina Serenity seems a bit much. I think it needs more of a simple middle name. Maybe something like Carina Rae or Carina Noelle. (My mind is blank so I'm not much help in the "suggestions" area. I'm sorry.)

I really like Carina, and also Carmina. Carina Serenity sounds a bit off to me, though. Something about it is just too spun-sugar, fairy tale, pwetty-pwetty-pwincess to me.

I like it with a more down-to-earth middle name, because I think it straddles the line nicely between down-to-earth and airy-fairy. Really nice. :)
