I love Julian!
I'll probably never use it as a fn because my first daughter *will* be named Jean, and I don't want any of my kids having the same first initial as each other. But it's a strong contender for a mn (Daniel Julian is my favourite combo). Frankly, if people are saying it's a girl's name, you're asking the wrong people! They're probably the popular-trendy sort hooked on the growing popularity of Julia / Julianna / Juliana etc.Although it *can* be feminine it's a boy's name to me.
