...And tell me Jane's plain. :D
I love it with the nn Janey (this spelling only, please, cute as Janie Gibbs of Harriet the Spy is). Prefer it as a first name, because there aren't enough out there right now, though it's fine as a middle name, too. I love how Jane can be stately as a queen (and has been, even), but she can also be indie, beat, or just plain old alternative at the same time. Jane's a chameleon name--as comfortable in a letterjacket as in a pair of Buddy Holly glasses. Maybe both at the same time. ;)
I'm not into any of those combos, myself. My favourite of all time is Jane Aida (eye-EE-dah), and I'd love to meet a small:
Jane Mariella
Jane Thomasina
Jane Elysia
Jane Rowena
Jane Gwendolyn
Jane Ophelia
Jane Isadora
Jane Ursula
Jane Rosamunde
Jane Elenore
Jane Cornelia
Jane Winifred
Jane Hephzibah
Jane Amaryllis
Jane Edwarda
Jane Regina
Jane Dolores
Jane Persephone
Jane Persimmon (if Apple and Plum are A-OK...)
Jane Simone
Jane Isla
Jane Adele (okay, themey, but subtle and very pretty)
Jane Quintessa
Jane Helen (also themey)
Jane Octavia
Jane Gloria
Jane Emilia
Jane Esther
Jane Diamond
Jane Demetra
Jane Tabitha
Jane Talitha
Jane Damaris
Jane Sunniva
Jane Florence
Jane Christina
Jane Eloise
Jane Heloise
Jane Vivienne
Jane Virginia
Jane Louisa
Jane Lovisa
Jane Lovina
Jane Estella
Jane Olive
Jane Antonia
Jane Yessenia
Jane Julia
Jane Jessamine
Jane Vivica
Jane Bernadette
Jane Brigitta
Jane Cleone
Jane Harriet (themey again)
These may be more to my tastes than yours, but what do you think of them, out of curiosity? Any appeal to you?

I've seen Daria. How could I forget that connection! :D
Good points about the personalities of Janes.
You have given some interesting combos. Out of those, I really like/love
Jane Rosamunde (Thanks for that. Love Rosamunde / Rosamund but not sure if I would use it as a fn)
Jane Isla
Jane Adele
Jane Gloria
Jane Diamond
Jane Eloise
Jane Persimmon (diiferent. But I like. Sidenote: I actually like Apple :) )
Jane Louisa
Jane Antonia (I have a good friend by the name Antonia, so maybe biased there)
Jane Jessamine
Jane Bernadette
Jane Brigitta
Jane Harriet
Thanks heaps!

Also, Rosamund Pike...
Played Jane in Pride and Prejudice 2005. So there is a connection but not obvious unless you're a fan. Wow, I really can't thank you enough for this combo :D
