Francis
I'm really liking Francis for a boy. However, I can't think of any good middle names for it. My top girl's name is Gloria and I have a few combos for that, but I can't settle on anything I like for Francis.I'd like to pair it with something that's not too bland but not eccentric and not distinctly "old-fashioned."My current list:
Francis Wayne (my father's middle name)
Francis Doug (also after my father; his name is Douglas, but he goes by Doug and I don't like the way Francis Douglas sounds)
Francis Albert (after my grandfather)
Francis Isaac
Francis AdenI like all these, but don't love them. What do you think? Any suggestions?

I adore the name Francis for a boy. I'm definitely going to use it someday. I really like Francis Albert and Francis Wayne. I don't care much for Wayne by itself, but Francis Wayne as a combo kind of reminds me of a cowboy. I like it.My personal favorite Francis combo is Francis Edmond.

Francis also happens to be one of my favorites for a boy! My two favorite combos with this name are Francis Adrian and Francis Gabriel.

I really love Francis; if not for some very bad familial connotations, I would definitely seriously consider it myself. Unfortunately, I'm left with Frank and only Frank. ;)I like Francis Wayne a lot; it gives Wayne a classiness I don't hear in it otherwise. Francis Doug and Francis Albert are also fabulous. The other two don't do as much for me.A few ideas (not too geriatric, not too out there):Francis Milo
Francis Oliver
Francis Richard
Francis Julian
Francis Karl / Carl
Francis Edward
Francis Desmond
Francis Elliot
Francis Isaiah
Francis Quinn
Francis Quincy
Francis Christophe(r)
Francis George (the reverse of my great-grandfather's name--the reason I can't use it--so I can't recommend it personally, lol)
Francis Henry
Francis Maurice
Francis Roger
Francis Edmond
Francis Gregory

I like Frank too. If I named a son Francis he would definitely be called Frank as long as I had anything to say about it.I'm really liking Francis Adam; Adam has grown on me lately and I'm not sure why. It compliments Francis really nicely, I think.Francis Roger might be a good choice too, since Roger was my grandfather's middle name.Others that caught my eye:
Francis Edward
Francis Edmond (Edwin is still my favorite of the "Ed" names, but no one else seems to like it.)
Francis Leo (Leo is one of my favorites)
Francis Leonard (I'm not a fan of Leonard on its own but I like the way it flows with Francis)
Francis Elliot
Francis George
Francis Alden (Again, don't really like it on its own, but it sounds nice with Francis)
