I love June. I can't think of any other serious nn's, but I can think of June Bug. And it sounds fine with Adeline. And please don't name her this if she was born in June. I hate when people do that. It's NOT cute. It is a perfectly fine name if she is born in March. Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jae is a nickname that works for all names that begin with the letter J, so that's one idea. I personally don't think that June needs a nickname at all though since it's so short. Adeline and June make nice sister names.

I think it's pretty. I'm not overly fond of word names, so it wouldn't be my go to, but June (and Mae) have a charming retro quality to them that supercedes their wordiness (which is something that April, for example, does not have). I think it is fine with Adeline, and I would smile to see it on a little girl.ETA: I'd prefer it if the baby weren't born in June! That would strike me as cheesy and unimaginative.Magnanimous Despair alone could show me so divine a thing, where feeble hope could ne'er have flown, but vainly flapped its tinsel wing.

I like June. It is strong and classy and it ages well IMO. I think June and Adeline would make a beautiful sibset. And I don't think it matters what month she was born in. I see the name as being associated with the Roman gods more than the month.

I love June with a passion, especially if it's short for Juniper, which I think would go better with Adeline. Either way, I don't think it matters if they were born in June or not. I know an April born in October, and a June born in February. It doesn't really matter to me.Oh, and btw, I love the nn Junie.

I know a lady about 50 named June. She's lovely, smart, alternative and strong minded and freewilled...that's what comes to mind for me...not months at all.
I think it a gorgeous name for a girl that ages well.
