Camilla
Hi I'm very poor. I am desparate for money. I would like my daughter to be named Camilla, but I don't know if it will suit our status well.

it will don't worry.
I don't know what that has to do with how much (or how little) money you have, I prefer Camille. :)

Not sure what social status Camilla would denote, but why not name your child in expectation of her hopes and dreams coming true, rather than your current situation, assuming that the child would remain in that state her whole life?
Why would your status matter? :S
I like the name Camilla. My name is Camille, but I think Camilla is just as pretty. I used it for a have-to-love-her character in a book, so I really like it. But I don't get... why would it matter if you're poor? I'm poor and my name's Camille... is it some culture thing I haven't heard of?
:S so lost...

I agree with Camille.
I think Camilla would be perfect, it doesnt matter if you are poor. If its a name you love then use it.
