I really like Scout for a girl, due to To Kill a Mockingbird, but I don't think I could give it as a first name. Perhaps we'd call her by it, but it'd be her middle name.

Erica Scout sounds too harsh, and Jessica and Jocelyn together with Scout have too many s's, but the other names you listed go well, I think.

I love it because it reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird. I think it's more of a nn than a real name for me. Because of the book, I would say it fits a girl, but otherwise it seems more boyish. I like the suggestion of Scout Harper. If you are going to do it, you might as well go all the way.
