Re: Baltazar
in reply to a message by iris
It's pretty awesome, especially spelled Baltazar. Don't know that I'd ever use it on a real person, though. When I used to watch "Alias", my dad, sister, & I would always mock the name when Balthazar Getty's face showed up on the screen, which probably had more to do with the fact that we didn't like his character. But still...it's an easily mockable name. And a Baltazar would be lucky to end up with the nickname Balt and not Balls, or something to that effect.

Balthazar GettyBalthazar Getty is my aunt's brother, so I always associate the name (which I love!) with him. My aunt generally calls him by his full name, but he is called Balt, Balty, etc. Since this is a name site, his kids' names are Cassius, Grace, and Violet. His Violet is actually older than Jennifer Garner's daughter, so I found it funny when she used that name.

I dunno. There's something to be said for a nickname like Balls-to-the-Wall-tazar. :DArray (cracks herself up)
