It's "freesia" in English, I believe. So while Fresia sounds nice, and the look is all right, I'm afraid it just looks misspelled to me; I'm used to there being two E's.
I don't think it's too far out to use, but my opinion on this matter should be taken with a grain of salt. ;) I'm the one whose favourite names are Evening and Morpheus, after all.
