I know a guy with this name. At first, I thought it was a little odd. However, I have grown to like it. It's unique.

There's a pro Bull rider w/ this name... I always thought it was cute. He has a brother and sister, named Rope and Ty, i think.
Rope, Ty, Cash.

Yes, very much so.

It's too monetary for my liking even though it also reminds me of Johnny Cash. Cash made a nice character name in As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, but I don't care for it for a real person.

Tacky? Not really. But I would only use it as a nickname for something like Cassius or Cassian or another similar sounding name.

It would be fine as a mn I suppose. I am kind of biased though because I do love Johnny Cash and hearing the name Cash reminds me of him. If I didn't think of Johnny Cash right away than I would probably think it was tacky.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I like the name Cash. My husband wanted to use the name on our 3rd child but we had a daughter so we didn't get to. I think if it flows with your last name you should use it. It could also be used as a middle name!

It is my mother's maiden name so I have always considered using it...It is my mother's maiden name so I have always considered using it... but I am still on the fence about it. The replies seem to indicate that most people don't like it. What do you all think about using it to honor someone? My mother had five sisters and one brother. Her brother died, so there is no one carrying on the surname of Cash.

well....I was really liking the name but it seems at the moment that people don't care for it too much. I think it would be GREAT for you to use the name Cash to honor someone and carry on the name. So, do you think you will use it?-------------------------------------------------

I'm afraid so. It's kind of like naming someone Dollar. It also makes me think of Johnny Cash, though, but the word "cash" is still the first thing I think of.
