I worked with three Jessica's at the same time, so I'm afraid that it's a little popular right now. If that's your thing, great! It's not a name that she is going to hate later on. The three girls I worked with went by "Jessica" , "Jessie" and "Jess" to distinguish them from each other. My favorite is "Jess", but "Jessie" (spelled that way) is not too masculine. Hope that helped. Just my opinions.
