There was a girl in my high school named Joree, so I immediately think of her. She's not a good association.
Then, I remember the VC Andrews series that starts with Flowers in the Attic. The main character ends up having a son Janus "Jory." Those books are the epitome of tacky (fun, but tacky), so that's not all that great an association, either.
However, if you don't have that baggage, I think Jory could be a handsome choice.
