I like it. To me it's vaguely "bad boy" -ish ... the similarity of sound to the word "shame" makes it seem rebellious to me (not ashamed). It's one of those rare names that is both "soft" and "butch" at the same time ... kinda sexy.

I *love* the name Shane. My brother is named Shane Arthur.
