The only one I really like is P.J., which is my cousin, Paul Junior. It does bring pajamas to mind though. :)
When I was nine I had a crush ona slightly older boy named D.J. I don't remember what his full name was, maybe David? But DJ is so strongly associated with deejays and rappers' stage names that I don't like it much.
I would NEVEr use BJ as a nn. That's just begging for trouble once the hormones kick in. lol
