Cecilia
I've been in a name slump lately. I still like my names, but I'm looking to spice it up. Cecilia was on my list and then off again, and I put it back on. WDYT? I'm going with the se-SEE-lya or se-SEE-lee-ah prns. MN suggestions?

My grandmother is Cecelia and I prefer that spelling. I like the nn Celia. My grandmother doesn't have a mn. She was often called Celia or Ceil. That confused me as a little kid as I thought my grandfather was callin her Seal. :)
I like
Cecelia Mary
Cecelia Ruth
Cecelia Hazel
Cecelia JaneI also love the Simon & Garfunkel song "Cecilia". There were two sisters at my daughter's preschool last year named Nora and Celia and I thought that was so cute.

I love it, as well as Celia and Cecily. :) I pronounce it seh-SEEL-yah, like the Simon & Garfunkel song, lol. The meaning bothers me a bit, but probably not enough to keep from using it. I do worry that people would mistakenly spell it as Cecelia, which may be a valid spelling but it just strikes me as illiterate for some reason. :-/

I like the name, it reminds me of the song "Cecelia" by Simon and Garfunkel, it also reminds me of my mom's friend who instead of going by her name Cecilia she goes by CC pronounced : see-see.
I like it better with 2 e's : Cecelia.

I like Cecelia a lot; its in the same class as Felicity for me, I'm guessing because of the "ci" sound in the middle. So I like Cecelia Maude, and I think Bear covered the rest of my mn suggestions.Briony Willow, Calla Geneva, Felicity Maude, Evening Pacifica, Katherine Ophelia, Rhiannon Pearl, Vanessa Juliet, Ivy Callista, Rosa Melody
Aubrey Joel Evander, Lincoln Isaiah "Link", Luke Matthias, Malachi Tristan, Damien Cedric, Jordan Blake Travis, Sebastian Felix, David Silas, James Tadhg

I love it. It is very classic and quite unusual nowadays. I knew a 6-year-old girl named Cecilia Dawn, and it fit her perfectly. Such a cute name! I've held on to the combo Isabelle Cecilia of late.

It's okay, I do like it, but I wouldn't ever want to use it because the two s sounds make a hissing noise to me when they're that close together.I think it calls for a simple middle name:Cecilia AnneCecilia FayeCecilia IreneCecilia JoyCecilia KayCecilia Louise?Cecilia MarieCecilia RoseCecilia Ruby?
