Zoe?
WDYT? Too popular? Too out there? Can you take an adult with this name seriously?

I hate it. It is too popular, especially with the yuppies and it sounds incredibly whingey and nicknamey to me. It isn't too out there, but I can't see an adult with it. Judge Zoe Smith...no. I would imagine an overly dramatic and whingey blonde cheeleader sitting at the bench.
I totally agree with everything Aine said.
I think Zoe is a lovely name! It has grown in popularity, but it's not as popular as others that are out there, and it's definitely not too unusual. The sound is different, but I think it's a nice sound :-) And yes, I think an adult named Zoe would be taken seriously. After all, it's not some extremely unusual or madeup name.

Zoe is a beautiful name, classical with a lovely meaning. I really don't understand why people think this is an infantile name, just because it ends with the "e" sound. So does Chloe, which is also beautiful and the name of a goddess, although I probably wouldn't use it during the "boom" it's having right now.
Zoe is on my favorites list, since I don't know any Zoes. I think it is original without being over the top.

There's nothing wrong with Zoe; I've always liked the name.
I think it is a pretty Greek name and I like the meaning.
And why should I not take a woman named Zoe seriously? It is not a silly nn, like Baby or Bebe.
- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball.
"I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."

Ditto to all of that :-)

I like the name Zoe, I have a friend named Zoe and the unusual sound of the name fits her personality perfectly. I think that people grow into the sound and meaning of their name so if you want an outgoing bright personality Zoe is a great name!
