Frances / Francis
Do you like both, neither or one? I prefer Frances as a mn, but I think it's cute. Opinions?
Take what you need while there's time
The city will be earth in a short while
If I'm not mistaken it's been in flames
You and I will escape to the seaside.

I like both, Francis for male and Frances for female. I like the nicknames Fran and Francie for a guy and Fran and Frankie for a girl. All very cool. Down-to-earth, fun sounding names to me. :)
Francis
Frances just sounds like you made a plural noun out of the country France. Frances is also a little bit annouying in the sense that if you were "Frances" you'd have to explain every time how to pronounce your name. I'm a stikler for names that sound like they're trying to be 'creative'.

I like both Francis and Frances. My Paternal Grandmothers parents were Francis and Frances Rylands though I believe Frances went by a nickname either Franny or Fanny.
If I ever used them they would be middle names

My Grandma's middle name is Frances.
