I've always liked it, my sister-in-law, who is 17, is named Whitney Brooke. I've also known a Whitney Laione.

Overused, annoying girls' name from the 1980s. Horrible assocation with Whitney Houston, esp. lately. :-/ I do know a boy named Whitney, but he always goes by Whit. :b
