Saoirse
Aside from it being unpronounceable if you see it and unspellable (I don't think that's a word) if you hear it, what do you think about the name Saoirse? It means freedom in Irish Gailic, and I think that the sound of the name, combined with the meaning, makes it a pretty name.

I love Saoirse. I don't think it's unspellable or unpronouncable, but living in Scotland I see enough Gaelic in forenames and placenames to have learned the common formations in the language and how they are pronounced. Great meaning too :-)
It's very nice. I love the meaning, and the sound is cool. But I'm not sure I like it for everyday use: aside from the pronunciation difficulties, the sound is too unusual for me as an everyday name.
I think I like it as a mn though.

I like it a lot. I recently added it to my list. I don't think I could ever use it though because of the pronunciation problems.
how do you pronounce it?
