'Interesting' twins and more - WDYT?
At the hospital where I work, we recently welcomed a few new sets of twins plus one set of triplets.
B/B twins: Alexander Cole & Dimitrios Peter
Dad is Greek. Not sure what they plan on calling Dimitrios for short. :-/
B/B twins: Amir Dion & Amari Dontae
No comment
B/B/G triplets: Zophia Caroline & Benjamin Worth & Curtis Barrett
I'm not sure how they are pronouncing the girl's fn (ZO-fee-ah or like Sophia), but I find it funny that Benjamin is baby B and Curtis is baby C, but Zophia is baby A. :b I find the spelling of Zophia odd, and though I adore the name Curtis (I'm partial, it's my nephew's name), it's a lot less common than the uber-popular Benjamin. Same with Zophia, actually. :-/
B/G twins: Maximus Isaac & Dawson Isabella (brother - Devin)
These two had the nurses talking! LOL. Everyone hated the name Maximus. I have to admit that the namenerd in me wants to like it, but I just keep thinking 'Are they expecting this kid to grow up to be a Gladiator or a Transformer?' :b Dawson for a girl is actually much worse, imo, though. :( The funny thing is, when the parents were asked about the names, they claimed that their 10 year old son named them, but when he came in and we asked him about this, he said he picked the MIDDLE names and that the whole family had input on the first names (and Maximus was mainly Dad's idea). They tried to blame it on their kid! :-/
***One more thing: My co-worker, Melissa, and her husband, Charles, are expecting their first child in January, a little girl they plan to name Harper Annmarie. I believe the mn is a family name (or a combo of family names), and she said they debated on how to spell it (Ann-Marie or Ann Marie, etc.). I kind of like Harper, but it's a GP for me as I mostly very much dislike unisex names on girls. It's one of the only ones I can tolerate, actually. And even though we have tons of nurses at work with daughters named Madison and Mackenzie (it's scary, actually), most of them have been cringing (tactfully, lol) at Harper. Go figure.

I like Alexander and Dimitrios a lot for a sibset, but Alexandros would have fit better imo.

I like Amir and Amari. Although with those middle names, I'm thinking, so eclectic it's silly ... still, they're aesthetically pleasing to me.
I'd call him Mitri.
Maximus is silly, but he'll be Max so I say no biggie. Dawson, on the other hand ... there's not much hope of that being made attractive. Dozzie? LOL Maybe Dawn. I'd rather see an invention that sounds like Dawson, than Dawson ... Dossan or something.

Nice classic names. Dimi or Dimitri seems the obvious nn.
B/B twins: Amir Dion & Amari Dontae: What can you say more than "bad imagination"?
B/B/G triplets: Zophia Caroline & Benjamin Worth & Curtis Barrett: Nice names but is Zophia an "ethnic" spelling? I've seen Sophia, Sofia (the most used spelling in Sweden) and Zofia.
B/G twins: Maximus Isaac & Dawson Isabella (brother - Devin)
Devin is nice. Maximus is ok, I love Max. But Dawson is really bad. It does not even have a cute nn. Daw?
Blaming it on the kid is really stupid. After all, it is the parents' responsibility to name their children, why leave this to a sibling? If Devin chose Isaac and Isabella, I think has the best taste.
Harper Annmarie: Annmarie Harper would have been much better imo. Though I prefer Harper to Madison and McKenzie.
- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball.
"I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."

I like Alexander, and Peter only.
B/B twins: Amir Dion & Amari Dontae
NMSAA
B/B/G triplets: Zophia Caroline & Benjamin Worth & Curtis Barrett
I like Caroline asa middle name, Benjamin is awesome, Barrett is great, the rest are NMSAA.
B/G twins: Maximus Isaac & Dawson Isabella (brother - Devin)
- I don't like Devin for either gender, Maximus is NMSAA, Isaac is great. Dawson is sort of cute for a girl, I wouldn't use it though it's NMSAA. Isabella is alright.
Harper Annmarie - love this, I like Harper for both genders, and I prefer Anne Marie but it's still cute.

I really like Alexander Cole and Dimitrios Peter together, I think they sound really nice.
Amir and Amari are a little similar for my tastes, unless I'm pronouncing them wrong :-P
Zophia, Benjamin and Curtis make quite a handsome sibset, I think - they could have done much worse!I particularly love Zophia's middle name, Caroline :-)
Maximus is a little much, and I don't like Dawson for EITHER sex. The middle names are nice, though - thank goodness their 10 year old had some input, lol!
And Harper Annmarie is lovely! I'm a big fan of Harper on a girl (though I'm generally not a big fan of unisex names), especially with a very feminine middle name.
