i like this name. but not, if someone over-pronounces the name, so as to say it more "french" - like [ste-FAAA-n].
i think one should pronounce it [stAY-fahn] or [stay-FF-ahn].

What about the name "Steffen"?

I really dislike this name.. not sure why. I hate Steven, Stephen, Steffan etc. I don't know why but they are all pet hates of mine. Steffan is slightly better than Steven/Stephen etc.
