Re: Random Unusual/Different BA's [long]

I'm definitely more conservative this month than I was last month, and I'm in a real complaining mood ... because these names really disgust me today:
Riley
Emmrey
Laken
Dallas
Ellis
Addison
... on females, ouch! These will all be tough to stomach on young women, IMO. At least, when they leave their tacky suburbs, they'll find folks who can't stomach those names. They sound like names of soap opera characters. Cheesy! For some reason, Carson and any of the others of similar type don't do that to me so much. Just these.
Of the boys, I don't care for Dakota, Sawyer, Thatcher, Blaze, Gatlin. These are the antithesis of my style, somehow, in some way I can't explain. Part soap-opera factor, part ... what ... rodeo-star factor? Not that I am against "rugged" or "country" sounding names, but these are over-the-top to me.
