Micah for a girl?
I think someone may have posted about this a while ago, but I was wondering: what do you all think about Micah for a girl? I really like the combo Micah Noelle, but do you think people will think it is Micah Noel, a boys name? And what about spelling it Mica, will people pronounce it MEE-ka instead of MY-ka?
Thanks for any help/input/suggestions you have on this subject.

I know Micah is a boys name, but it always sounded like a girls name to me, so YES
I can see it on a character, but not on an actual child.
At some point in time, everyone studies a little geology in school...(m)
And I'm sure Mica(h) will love it when her classmates find out that the stone mica has perfect cleavage.
In other words? Just say no.

Mica is a rock. Micah is a trendy spelling of a rock. Which is just odd...
That said, I wouldn't use it, but I don't mind it on other people's kids. I prefer it on a boy, though. On a girl, it doens't soudn femenine, and there are so many other good names out there for girls. I do like Mika, though, prounced MY-ka. Less rocky.
By the way, I know it's an established name that dates back to biblical times... But personally, I think of rocks when I hear it..

No way! It's a male name, let's keep it that way.

I like Micah for either sex. I prefer the look of the spelling Mica, but many will probably think it's mee-ka. it's up to you.
I think Mica Noelle / Micah Noelle is really cute and has a great sound to it. but I do tend to like male names on girls (Georgie is one of my favorites for a girl!). plus Michael is a family name for me.
do what feels right to you.

don't do it. micah is all boy.
Does spelling it Mykah, Mycah, or Mikah make it look any more feminine? Or just Kree8iv? I like Mikah the best out of these.
No.
I thought of it for a while so I dont loathe it on a girl, but I prefer it so much more on a boy.
I do know that back when I was thinking female, I had the combo Micah Noelle. Some will probably think boy and Micah Noel, but wouldnt care too much. And I pn Noelle and Noel different, so I dont really see it being a problem. I seem to have different opinions from most though
I dont like the pn MEE-ka, I much prefer MY-ka.
