Re: Sidney on a boy?

I think Sidney's fine on a boy. It's not a personal favorite of mine but neither is Sydney on a girl. My dislike is based on the names' asthetics not on real or imagined androgyny.
Sidney James is okay. James doesn't do much for me as a fn or mn. It's blah.
In theory I have no problem with the sibset Morgan, Madison, Mackenzie and Sidney but I think in the U.S. now with the huge popularity of Madison and Mackenzie people will be thrown by seeing those names on boys.
In completely connect Eartha with Eartha Kitt. Whether that's good or bad depends on your opinion of her. Personally I don't care for the sound of the name. I also dislike similar sounding Martha and Bertha.
Ocean is nmsaa. PRobably because I'm not a water person.
