Sasha
I really like Sasha (probably as a nickname for Alexander) as a boy's name, but I only know girls named Sasha. Wdyt about Sasha as a masculine name?

No, it's too feminine. I always think of Sasha Cohen; it also sounds like a cat name.
Loving Theodore and Chloe!
Love it for both.

I don't like it for a boy, even though I know it can be used as a nn for Alexander. I think it sounds better on a girl.
I knew a guy Sasha(he was a foriegn exchange student from Russia). I don't like it.
I like it, but Sasha is one of those names that a boy has to ROCK to make it work, otherwise it could end up being a good way to tease a boy.
I think it's too girl. I wouldn't use it on a boy unless you don't mind him being teased.
I guess it could work on a boy, but it would ve very strange if his last name wasn't Russian. Doubly strange if his last name wasn't Russian and he claimed Sasha was a nn for Alexander. Most non-Russians are not going to understand how you get Sasha from Alexander and will think of the name as a girls' name.
I too am used to Sasha as a name for female cats. Phillip and I adopted a cat a lady had rescued from the side of the road and raised on a bottle, and we called her Sasha. She grew up to be HUGE and also very mean, we think now she was really a feral cat who couldn't be tamed. She became so aggressive we had to find a new home for her, on a farm owned by some people we know. There she could have plenty of runing-around room and hunting, but she'd be near people if she needed them but wasn't expected to be a lap cat. lol

Personally, I like it a lot more on a girl. I have heard of Sasha on guys, but they were both older, Russian, gymnastics coaches.
People, in general, would rather die than forgive. It's that hard. If God said in plain language, "I'm giving you a choice, forgive or die," a lot of people would just go ahead and order their coffin.

I know three boy Sasha's and 2 girl Sasha's.
My brother Christian was going to be Sasha if he was a girl.
I found it weird on a girl until recently.
I adore it on a boy!

I love Sasha as a boy's name. In Sweden there are 87 men/boys and 54 women/girls named Sasha.
But after what I've read about baby names in USA, I gather that it is disastrous for boys in USA to have the same name as a girl. So I would name him Alexander and use Sasha as a nn. Then he could use safe boring Alex in school.

You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams."

I'm more used to hearing it as a cat's name.
The only time I've heard it on a person has been as a nickname for an Alexander, but that wasn't enough to make me automatically think male or female as a first reaction. This one is dead set on being equally unisex or feline for me.

I used to have a cat named Sasha (a female cat). I prefer it for girls.
I hate it!
If I had to use it though, it is definitely a girl's name, not a boy's name.

I like Sasha (and Nikita in keeping with the whole Russian thing) for boys. I like Alexander too, but prefer Alessandro nn Sasha. Great choice!

I have a daughter named Sasha, so obviously I like it as a girl's name. To me the sound just has a feminine feel.
