Katelyn, Allyson, Natalie, or Kaylin
We have 2 boys..Evan & Alex. We're expecting a girl in October and are down to 4 choices. My husband and I agreed on Allyson for a girl during both of the pregnancies that resulted in boys. Now we wonder can Alex have a sister named Allyson? Somehow we've added Katelyn to the list and I wonder what everyone's opinion is on Katelyn vs. Kaylin. And my husband really likes Natalie.!! Decision is too hard. Any input appreciated.

Natalie's the nicest, and will age the best imo.

Natalie. It sounds the best with the boy's names.
:)

Oh my goodness...so many Y's. I say go with Natalie.
I suggest going with either Katelyn or Natalie. Allyson is a nice name, but I prefer the spelling Allison. Alex and Allyson are a bit too close for my liking though. Katelyn is ok, but its overly popular. I prefer the spelling Caitlin. I'm not a fan of the name Natalie although it sounds nice with Evan and Alex. Kaylin sounds pretty, but it's very trendy. How about using Cailin instead?
Good luck!
Good luck!
Natalie goes better with your sons' names :)

I love all of those names. They are all in my top 10.
Though, the one that I would choose is Katelyn.
Do you have any middle names picked out?

I really dislike Katelyn and Allyson... But *love* Natalie! So, that's my choice.
However I do think that Allyson and Alex work as siblings, if you really really love it.

Natalie definitely gets my vote. I love the name, and I think it goes well with Evan & Alex.
Allyson is cute, and I don't think it's too bad next to Alex.
I like Katelyn, but I much prefer the sp. Caitlyn. Kaylin, on the other hand, is nmsaa.

Katelyn/Kaylin are just plain too popular for me, and I personally think it's a bad rip off of the Irish name Caitlín. Kaylin does nothing for me. It sounds like a bad melding of the trendy elements "Kay" and "Lyn". Avoid.
Allyson is a decent name, but I much prefer Allison or Alison to the previous spelling.
Natalie is nice, but I prefer the lesser used Nathalie or Natalia.
May I also suggest:
Madeleine
Evelyn
Bianca
Blanche
Honora

Katelyn - I think it's cute when spelled correctly, please spell it Caitlin! It looks so much nicer!
Allyson - I only like Allison on a boy. If you must please spell it either Alison or Allison, it looks so much better. Plus Allyson looks like Alley-Son, and not Al-Eh-Son/Sin.
Natalie - Yes! spelled correctly, and a gorgeous name
Kaylin - NO NO NO, and NO! I have a second cousin named this, i pity her all the time. It's made up, and not pretty.
Sorry for being harsh, I was honest though. I'd go with Natalie.

Allyson, but...
I would greatly favor the spellings Alison or Allison over Allyson, but between the four names you've listed that would be my pick. I don't like Katelyn or Kaylin particularly, and Natalie has always sounded really prissy and spoiled to me.
I think Alex and Allyson (or whatever variant) would be fine together as long as they didn't have nicknames that were any more similar like Ally and Allie or Al and Alli, know what I mean?

I agree.
Loving Theodore and Chloe!
Natalie is the only one of the 4 that I care for. Allyson (or any other spelling) is too similar to Alex, imo. Katelyn is terribly overused and has way too many spellings. Kaylin is trendy, contrived and has way too many spellings as well. Go with Natalie.

I like Natalie. Katelyn, Kaylin, and Allyson are too trendy for my taste. What middle names do you hae picked out?
I tend toward the traditional for middle names. We like Elizabeth with all four names, or we may use one of the four as a middle name. Like...Natalie Allyson, or Katelyn Natalie.
I'm trying not to worry too much about a name being popular or not. According to the SSA stats, Katelyn (& Caitlyn,Kaitlin, etc) have remained steady for a good 15 years. Natalie is actually the one out of these four that currently ranks highest(19) on the popularity list! Kaylin (& Kaelyn, etc) are ranked way down in the 400's!! Katelyn and Allyson both fall around 40 or 50th.

Natalie !
With Katelyn vs Kaylin I'd go with Kaylin. But Natalie is still my fav.

I like Allyson and Katelyn.
Natalie.....
Natalie is the pretties of the four you've listed, and I think it would go nicely with your boys' names. Katelyn is my runner-up, but overall, Natalie is a nice look and sound, and it's "trendy traditional" which is a name category that I just made up to describe names that have been around forever but are having a super resurgence in popularity. :)

I have to say please, PLEASE do not use those spellings of Allison. Allyson is not the greatest but not the worst - the other two are awful, though. =/
I like Katelyn, except for the fact that it was SUPER popular-trendy in the 90s and early 2000s and is now VERY specific to that generation. In other words, it will seem very dated in 15 years or so. I like Natalie and I don't think Alex and Allyson are bad together in a sibset. Imo, they aren't too close. Kaylin sounds pretty but I don't think this spelling looks nice.
