Eudora

It's always reminded me of an episode of the Simpsons, sadly. Especially since my culturalization has branched much farther than that cartoon. I just can't get past it.
actually, it reminded me of names from Greek myths...
which is fitting, I suppose, since it is a Greek name! lol
I really don't think of it as "old lady" especially since I don't know anybody with this name and, honestly, never even heard of it before now.
So, based on first impressions, I think it's very pretty and has a lovely meaning. I like it :-)

Eudora is pretty and unusual. I don't think that it's too ladyish.
I love it. It's fun to say and I like the meaning. I don't think it's old-ladyish at all. It seems very bouncy and innocent. I have it in my combo Harriet Eudora right now, but it's very likely that it will change to a favorite fn in the future.

I love it, it's just right to me (antique, but fresh on a young person IMO).

Well...
There's a town not too far from where I live called Eudora, and we compete against their high school in sports and other competitions. So it's not really a person name to me-- it's a small town, and it brings to mind images of cardinals (because that's their high school's mascot).
Putting that out of mind, though (because my association with the name most likely won't affect you, anyways), I think it has a nice, pleasant sound to it, and I think the meaning's lovely. It may be a bit "old-ladyish," but I think that's half the charm (the other half is that it's unusual and not heard very often). So it gets a thumbs up from me. :-)

I understand completely about the highschool. That's kind of funny. A town near me has a common woman's name, and I can never disasociate the name from the town.

Not at all. Eudora is delightful. Go for it.
Have you considered mns?

I haven't thought too much about middle names, I don't really tend to think about combos that much. If you have any suggestions, though, I'd love to hear them :)
