Dylan vs. Rhys
Replies
My vote definitely goes to Dylan...100%. It's one of my faves.
Rhys, on the other hand, I see more of as a girls' name, but with the sp. Reese. If I had to use it for a boy, I'd go with the sp. Rhys because it looks far more masculine imo, but even still, the name itself, is girl to me...one of my faves in fact, when sp. Reese.

Loving the Names:
Ariella Kathryn, Carrie Marie, Elisabeth Ava, Faith Alexandra, Michaela Reese, Sadie Elisabeth
Cade Preston, Deacon James, Grant William, Jude Hamilton, Roman Spencer

Rhys, definitely . . .
I love the name Rhys!
Dylan is very overused here, and I've never met a Dylan I liked, so it has fairly unappealing associations for me.
From your list, I also like Owain and Gareth. Tristan is also nice but too popular.

I love Rhys. Tristan Rhys and Rhys Taliesin are nice
Rhys is a great name. I definitely prefer it to Dylan. Dylan is overused and is just nms. Out of the others, I like Gavin (despite its popularity ) and Owain. Gareth is interesting, but the "th" sound at the end makes it sound off to me. Taliesin would be a nice middle name. I don't think that I would use it as a first name due to pronunciation and spelling issues.
I definetely like RHYS but i would spell it RICE.

I can't stand the Rice spelling . . .
It's completely counter-intuitive for pronunciation. Rhys makes sense; Rice doesn't.

Semi-guiltily...
I'd like the name Rice said like rice, if it wasn't for the food. As it is now it'd be pretty hard to sneak it past people.

Oh, great taste...
Nobody sings a love song quite like you do
And nobody else can make me sing along
Nobody else can make me feel
That things are right when I know they're wrong

Rhys is pronounced Reese.

So is Rice...
Not always (it's also pronounced r-eye-ce, like rice that you eat) but 'reese' is an acceptable way to pronounce it too.

She intended it to be said Rice, which is why I said it.
I would say Rhys definitely. Dylan is too popular. Out of the others, I like Owain but prefer Owen or Eoin. I don't like Tristan, Gareth, Emlyn or Gavin. I like Iolo and Taliesin.

Deep in the trees when no one was looking
Should I speak of this
You are a mirage in the distance
That defies the heat of the desert
Should I believe in you

Guess I do have a somewhat "mythological" taste in names, lol. I just like names that are connected to legends and such and want to name my future son something along those lines. Don't worry, I do like other names too. =)
I like both Dylan and Rhys, but I think I'd have to go with Dylan. But, now that I look at your other list, I like Tristan best out of all of them.
People, in general, would rather die than forgive. It's that hard. If God said in plain language, "I'm giving you a choice, forgive or die," a lot of people would just go ahead and order their coffin.

Really? Personally I think it's quite a masculine sounding name. =)
