Nevis
What do you think of Nevis for a girl? Could it be a variation of Nieves / Neves - which are both kind of difficult to pronounce?Any thoughts and suggestions on the name would be great. Thanks!~Lisa~

A nevus is a mole, so that's what I think of when I see Nevis. :-/ But Nieves / Neves are nice, imo.

I don't really like Nevis pronounced (nee-vis). (neh-vis) is better to me. and I really like the sound of (neh-vee). I guess spelled Nevi. to answer your question Nevis could be a variation on Nieves.I prefer Nieve or Neve. I like Neve (neev) the most of those two though I can see how that would also be difficult to pronounce.some other names with similar sounds and maybe easier pronunciations :Neva
