You can pronounce it a number of ways.
I say it IZ-mean( like you're saying is mean)
IZ-men( like saying is men)
IS-mean ( with the s sounds, like when you say slither)
IS-men ( same with the other above)
ISMEN-ay ( slither sound, the first part is to be said very quickly)
IZMEN-ay ( the z sound, again to be said quickly.
