WDYTO Olive...
I watched 2 movies this weekend. One had a girl named Olive in it and the other had a girl names Maya. What do you think of....Olive
Maya/ Maia
Maisie
MacyAlso, I have become recently fascinated by using Beth as a mn, which is totally weird since I have always hated this name in the past. What fn's sound great with Beth?Britney Tamber

Olive- I really like it! Olive is so cute and way less common than Olivia and I think it has more character
Maya/ Maia- I like Maia a lot, but it is a bit trendy
Maisie- Love this as a nn for Margaret or Marguerite
Macy- Don't like it at all...it is like a trendy bimbo spelling of the gorgeous Maisie

Olive -- Love it. It's a nice, earthy alternative to sugar-sweet Olivia. Maya / Maia -- Very elegant. Love it/them.Maisie -- A darling nn for Margaret.Macy -- Macy's Day Parade. I don't like it at all, sorry. It's funny that you say that about Beth. I've never been that big on the name, but for some reason Annabeth is growing on me. OK. Fns to go with Beth:Emily Beth

Olive -- too oily for me.
Maya/Maia -- absolutely tremendous name. Prefer Maya. I love this.
Maisie -- cute, but makes me think of the book "What Maisie Knew." (Read it, it's great.)
Macy -- it's a store.Beth -- the middle name of a girl/woman who has caused me a lot of trouble in life. So it's just not a name I can like.

Olive - I like the old-fashionedness of it, and it makes me think of a book I like called Olive's Ocean. I think it'd be cute on a child, but I couldn't picture it on a teenager or an adult.
Maya / Maia - I prefer Maya. I think it sounds pretty, but I wouldn't ever use it.
Maisie - I think it's cute. But I'm not sure it'd age well.
Macy - I like it. I think Maya & Macy are really the only names out of these four that would age well.

Olive - like Olivia a lot better, but this is a good, less common option.
Maya/ Maia - I know this is pronounced like Mya, but for some reason I really like May-a. I wish it was pronounced like that, then it would be one of my favorites. I think it just looks pretty.
Maisie - nms
Macy - nms either, reminds me too much of the store. Also, I have become recently fascinated by using Beth as a mn, which is totally weird since I have always hated this name in the past. What fn's sound great with Beth?Hmm, I guess a longer name would sounds nice paired with the shorter mn. I have trouble thinking of any combos I really like though!

I don't like Olive, it makes me think of Olive Oyl. Olive Maya (I know how Maya is pronounced with a long i but still...) called to mind Olive Mayo, as in some sandwich spread I hope I don't have to try.
Maisie is an old-lady name, or a dog name. I know a pair of black lab puppies named Josie and Maisie.
Don't like Macy any better. Too expensive. I like Sears or JC Penney better. lol
Don't really like Beth for eithe rfirst or middle name, but it's not too bad. I know girls named Amanda Beth, Miranda Beth, Susan Beth, Katie Beth and Jeri Beth.
