I like the flow of Cait Emmaline and Kate Aislinn better than Emmaline Cait, which for some reason, sounds truncated to me. My favorite combo is Cait Emmaline.

*Don't care for Catherine/Katherine/Kathleen/Caitlin - Me, either.
*Concerned "Cait" looks incomplete and with all the Catherine/Caitlin/Kaitlyn, etc. is tooo common. -No, I don't think so at all. Cait is a lovely name.
*Concerned about Kate for popularity reason. -Well, Cait sounds exactly the same...and I see why you're concerned. :o)
*Afraid Emmaline looks like we're trying too hard to make Emma different. -I don't think it looks like you're trying too hard. Now Emmaleigh? THAT'S trying too hard.
"Emma Peck" sounds horrid and we're trying to honor an Emma. -I don't think Emma Peck sounds horrid at all.

Alternate suggestions: What about Aislinn Emmaline or Emmaline Aislinn? That way, you don't have to deal with the Cait/Kate popularity issue. As much as I love Emmaline, Aislinn Peck sound very nice, imo.
