Logan
WDYTO the name Logan? Is it male or female to you? Any mn suggestions? I saw this spelling of it today while I was looking at the comments for it: Loughen. WDYT? I personally thought that was absolutely awful.

I like it, especially on a girl. Logan on a girl would be tolerable, but I'd much prefer it on a boy :-)I don't like Loughen at all. It looks like "laughing" to me.

It's alright, nice, not too common. Definitely a boy though.Loughen just looks wrong - like it should rhyme with roughen or toughen. Logan Vincent or Logan Philip? Logan Taliesin has a really nice flow to it IMO if you're looking for something a little more out of the ordinary.

Logan is an alright name, I don't mind it. I only like it for a boy though, hate it on a girl. Loughen is an absolutely terrible spelling!

I love this name, on a boy, depite it's recent popularity. Actually, I have never met a Logan, so to me the name isn't too popular.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I don't like the name (male IMO), but that might be more because I think of a Logan I didn't like. I definately don't like the Loughen spelling (it looks like lo-en).Logan Michael, Logan Christopher, Logan James, Logan Taylor...*laurel*

Ah, Logan.I never really had an opinion on this name until I started watching a TV show where one of the main characters is named Logan. And, well... now all I think of is a snarky, priveleged, vulnerable son of two famous actors. Sometimes cruel, sometimes sweet. Often heartbreaking. That's Logan....But fangirling aside, it's not really my style, but the above association is enough to make me like it a smidgen. I also have a second cousin named Logan, though I don't know him that well (he'd be about ten, I guess).I really don't like Logan as a girls' name. It just seems so masculine to me. And Loughen looks like it'd be pronounced "LOWF-en," or something similar.

I don't really like it that much to begin with, but Loughen is just weird. I personally think of it as a boy's name, though. Some mn suggestions:
Logan Joshua
Logan Rayner
Logan Kyle
Logan Michael
Logan Daniel
Logan Tyler
Logan Derek

I wouldn't pronounce Loughen like Logan. It looks like it would be pronounced Low-Hen to me. I think Logan is going to stay on the boy's side. It's gaining in popularity for boys and loosing popularity for girls. Perhaps due to most people associating Logan with the X-men character, Wolverine. I like Logan a lot but it's way too popular.

Loughen isn't even prn the same way to me! ETA that I prn Loughen as Lew-enne.Logan is a GP name for me, but for boys only! I would never never use it, since it's much too popular and yuppie sounding to me, but I do think it's cute for a little boy and would age well.
