Elam for a boy?
I thought it was an interesting boys name. I think it has a biblical history. How does it sound to you? First impressions? Is it kind-of hard to pronounce?
How does this sound/look?
Miles Elam
(Yeah, I'm still deciding on a middle name for Miles. Thanks for all the previous suggestions. My hubby and I will agree on something eventually!)

I thought it was EE-lum at first. I grew up with a family with the ln Ealum, so that's what first came to mind. But I really like the pronunciation and history of the name. I don't think I've ever seen Elam before. (And I LOVE finding "new" names, so thanks. :b) I adore Miles, and I think Miles Elam sounds great. Another suggestions: Miles Ephraim. Similar feel, imo.

I don't love it as a stand alone name, but I think it sounds very nice with Miles, very distinguished sounding.
