Re: Sophronia?
I think it's really pretty. A lot of people on the boards love virtue names, and to me this is the best way to do something like that (for its meaning)! I personally like it for the look and sound. Sophie would be a cute NN, but Sophie is so popular that I'd probably just call her Sophronia or something different like Phria. :)Do you have any combinations in mind?

What are the convulsions of a city in comparison with the insurrections of the soul?

No, actually. I find it very difficult to pair such an elegant name with another one. I think it takes away from the name. If I said Sophronia Anne or Sophronia Kate I'd feel as though I was ruining the name or something. But then if I said Sophronia Anastacia or something, I think that's *too* much. I hope you know what I mean. If you have any nice ideas that aren't overboard, that would be great. Sorry if I'm not making myself clear, I tend to blab on and on a lot :)
Thanks,
Louise.

LOL, I type the wrong thing all the time...I do know what you mean. Kate or Anne just don't flow well with it, but Anastacia is a bit cumbersome. What about something elegant but a little shorter? (OK, I'm having a hard time coming up with shorter, but know what? I don't think it matters. It will be a little much for a little kid, but how often does a 3 year old say her whole name? And when she does, people will think it's cute. So, too bad if it seems long. I'd rather pick two beautiful names that I love than 'dumb down' a combo for what will only be a problem for a short time.)I have a thing for double -ph- sounds (Yes, -ph- not F for some reason, I like to keep them together. I like F's in names, just not in this instance. I'm weird.), so humor me.
Sophronia Ophelia
Sophronia Seraphina
Sophronia Persephone
Sophronia Delphina
Sophronia Delphine
Sophronia DaphneOther cool combos I'm liking:
Sophronia Amarantha
Sophronia Amaryllis
Sophronia Helene
Sophronia Silvia
Sophronia LuciaOnes where I think Sophronia makes a better MN:
Rhea Sophronia
Ingrid Sophronia
Charlotte Sophronia
