I know someone with the ln Layton, so I couldn't use it, but I guess it's an ok ln as a fn. As for Addilyn, I like it, but prefer the spelling Addalyn.

Addilyn is kind of cute, though it seems very trendcy to just tack Lyn onto the end of any random collection of syllables. Madeline is much prettier to me.
Layton is fairly common where I live, Southern Delaware. It's most often seen on men in their sixties or older. I've never seen it used hardly at all anywhere else.Sacred cows make the best burgers.

Layton is okay -- are you thinking of it for a boy or a girl?I much prefer Adeline to Addilyn.-- Sarah
