I like it very much, and I have a good personal association with it--I went to nursing school with a girl from Nigeria named Mercy (mn Fatima) and she was super smart and very sweet. A lot of older patients liked to call her "Nursie Mercy". :b

Like it only as a nn for Mercedes. It's too much of a word to me as a full name.

Completely in love with itWant to use it on a potential theoretical daughter one day, but will probably not have the chance, *sigh*. I would use either Mercy Evangeline or Mercy Nightingale.

I like it a lot, I think it has a beautiful sound and meaning. It's a nice virtue name that's usable and not to out there. Very nice.

I like it very much. I'd probably use it as a mn, but it's very pretty in either position (first or middle)-Lulu
