Some Irish Girls Names

Lately I've been really into Irish girls names and liking these, what do you think?

Aravis
Lile (lee-luh)
Eilidh (ay-lee)
Maleia (ma-lay-uh)
Delaney
Laoise (lee-sha)

Also, I've been liking Aravis Brigh (like Bree) but I can't decide weather I like the Brigh or Bree spelling better. Brigh seems mystical to me but is it too out there with Aravis?

Aravis ~ like it but i prob wouldn't use it
Lile (lee-luh) ~ cute!
Eilidh (ay-lee) ~ like it, but the spelling's a bit odd.
Maleia (ma-lay-uh)~ cute!
Delaney ~ love!!!!
Laoise (lee-sha) ~ not so much

I think Aravis Brigh looks good together, but people my pronounce it Brig. I think Bree is very cute!!

I think Delaney is the best on that list. I love it. Personally, I like Bree better, and i like Aravis..but it depends on where the name is stressed at. (A-ra-vis, a-RA-vis, a-ra-VIS) u know?

Aravis- Don't like it.
Lile (lee-luh)-It's ok.
Eilidh (ay-lee)- I love it.
Maleia (ma-lay-uh)- Very nice.
Delaney- Not an Irish name.
Laoise (lee-sha) Really like it. It's my sister's name in Irish.

Brigh is nicee. It's not too out there but like I said, I'm not that into Aravis.

I like Maleia, Laoise, and Bree. My favorite Irish names are Sinead, Keeva, and Maeve. WDYT?

I love Sinead, Maeve and Keeva (but I'd be more likely to spell it Caoimhe).

I love them all exept Delaney. Being a bit Irish myself, I think Aravis Brigh is a great name. It isn't too out there, it's just unique, and pretty.

Lile is pronounced Lilly. Which I don't find very interesting really.
Eilidh is pronounced EYE-li. A version of Eilene. Also not my favorite.
Delaney is a last name, and there are so many gorgeous Irish girls names that I'd never use a family name as a fn.
Laoise is okay, but I much much prefer Saoirse.
Brigh is nice. I like that spelling because its so close to "bright". the meaning isn't that enchanting though. Again, I think there are so many nicer Gaelic names. Also, if your seriously thinking of using them with Irish spellings Please please pronouce them properly, otherwise just anglecise to the sound you want. ie Leela vs Lile (Lilly)

Oh my, you are right!

I always thought that Delaney was Irish so it didn't even come to me to check that name before I posted, sorry!

As for my pronounciation I assume you're probably right and I do always want to say EYE-lee when I see Eilidh so I guess that won't be too much of a jump. Now Lile is a little bit harder, but trufully I've always wanted to say lil-lay when I look at it and that's not too much of a jump from lil-lee (Lilly) is is?

Thanks for the link and for setting me straight! As a lover of Irish names I'm so ashamed that I did not check all my sources, before posting, to come up with the correct pronounciations!

Aravis: reminds me of a cologne my dad used to wear when I was growing up called Aramis.
Lile (lee-luh): This spelling doesn't lend itself to this pronunciation for me (I'd say lyle), but the sound is pleasant.
Eilidh (ay-lee): Pretty.
Maleia (ma-lay-uh): I prefer Malia.
Delaney: I didn't know this was Irish. It sounds uber trendy unisex place namey to me. Sorry!
Laoise (lee-sha): Pretty by I far prefer Saoirse.
