It's a unit of American coins, not really an attractive baby name to me.

Rupinder is lovely, though. I love Penelope, too, though with the NN Nell.

I'm not a huge fan of picking a name specifically for a NN, though. If you like it, just use Penny.

I think Penny is a cute name, although I know a few Penny's, so I can totally see it used today.

I don't care much for Penelope, either. It's too fussy. I think someone here has mentioned Peninah before.
