I like it because of Langston Hughes, and it does have a cool sound on its own, too, I think. I also used to know a little boy named Langston with a sister named Laura. I'd use a more traditional mn, like Langston Charles (sounds too similar to Langston Hughes?) or Langston James.

Not my style, but still strikes me as a good name. I think Langston Alexander would be nice.
Sorry but it sounds like a gangsta to me.
really ? lol...ok i guess i can hear that
It's one that I don't mention much, but I love it. It would be a very attractive name on a boy--he would have a wonderful namesake in Langston Hughes (who was brilliant), and the nn Lang would just sound so sharp, IMO.
Middle names:

I can never remember your style, so I don't know if these hit anywhere near--sorry. ^^;

good middles!
It's the maiden name of an author (Jamie Langston Turner: http://www.jamielangstonturner.com/ME2/Sites/Default.asp) who is the wife of one of my college professors. I *think* they named their son Jamin Langston, but I'm not certain. It sticks that way in my mind for some reason, anyway.
So mns for Langston:
(male)
Langston Ashley (very Southern-sounding)
Langston Jeffrey / Geoffrey
Langston Burke
Langston Cassius
(female)
Langston Bethany
Langston Cherisse
Langston Elisabeth
Langston Olivia
edited to change a mn
