WDYTO Brogan?

Well... it essentially means "little shoe", but if you ignore the meaning it isn't terrible. It's trendy-sounding due to the -an ending and the fact that it's Irish. Overall, though, it's nmsaa. I just don't care for the sound very much.
Brody is nice and I much prefer it to Brogan, despite the "ditch" meaning.

It comes across to me as a word for a type of shoe.
I don't like it, sorry - not name-y enough.

It sounds trendy to me, because it's close to Brody and ending in -an. Sorry.
I first heard it being screeched at a pre-teenage girl in a high street shop in Dundee, where it would generally be (and was) pronounced 'BROHHH-gennn'. I can't imagine it on a boy, and I don't particularly like it for a girl.
It's OK, but not a personal favorite of mine.
I don't care for it. It seems very slightly trendy and doesn't have much of a meaning.
Actually, I know a *girl* named Brogan (ugh). It's one of those super-masculine-sounding surnames (like Morgan and Peyton) that I'll never understand people giving to girls. Though I still don't care for it, it's certainly better on a boy.
