Ah, but we're always oblivious to the things in front of us. It's why my sister can always find my Easter basket but I can't. ;D
Thoughts that I've had since then. Not necessarily as serious as Raining as far as suggestions go. ;)
Lightening (and her twin brother, Darkening)
Yearning (and thus Yearling, though it's not a verb)
Learning (what life is for, CSNY and Joni Mitchell have taught me)
Trekking (walking-related words sound cool I think)
Walking
Hiking (I'd suggest Journeying, but that looks so awkward)
Glowing
Dreaming
Knowing
Snowing (I like Snowbird for a girl in theory, so Snowing can't be all that much of a stretch ;)
Sailing (If Sailor works...)
Blessing
Lacing
Dancing
Twirling
Whirling
Creeping
Whispering
Sallying (Sallying Anne Deville--can't you see it? ;D)
Hoping
Being
Building
Ringing
Array

is a good one, I think of it in the sense of "being in the moment," but even as I thought that thought, the obvious verbal tease would be "Human Being nyah-nyah-nyah" you get the picture. But I still like it!
