I like Bec and Becca as nicknames for Rebecca. I don't like Becky.
Hannah and Johanna are not the same name, although they have the same root word in Hebrew.
Of the names coming from Chanah, I like Anne, Hannah, Anna, Nan, Nancy and Annika; and many of the combination names (particularly Anneliese, Marianne and Rosanna).
Of the names coming from Yochanah (see Yochanan), I like Gianna, Hanne, Jane, Janie, Jean, Jeanna, Jeannette, Joanna, Johanna, Jonna, Sian, Siana, Siani and Zsanett. I also like the combination name Hannelore.
