Becky?
I've recently discovered the name Becky and am really starting to love it! However, I don't really care for Rebecca. Are there any other names that Becky can be a nickname for? Or do you think that Becky can stand as a first name on it's own? Last, what do you think of Becky Lynn? Thanks!

Honestly, I find Becky quite dated and the combo Becky Lynn to be especially dated. I'd much prefer Rebecca as the formal name. That way, SHE could decide what she preferred to be called.

I like Becky because it reminds me of sweet Becky Thatcher in "Tom Sawyer". I like Rebecca but not Becky Lynn.

The only other name that could yield the nickname Becky imo is Beckett, and that's a way too boyish name for a girl to me.And, no, I don't think Becky's substantial enough to be on its own. Besides, your daughter might not like the name Becky; she might prefer to be called Becca or even Rebecca on its own.Becky Lynn sounds very 1980s to me, strangely. It flows well enough though.

I can't think of any other names Becky could be short for. I do think Becky can stand on it's own though, it's a strong enough name. Becky Lynn is not really my style, I don't like Lynn, sorry.

I honestly don't know of any other names that could use the nn Becky, but I do like the nn. I don't think it's strong enough to stand on its own, though.
