WDYTO Thea? (m)
What is your opinion of the name Thea, pronounced TAY-uh? Can you suggest any middle names? The only one I have come up with so far is Thea Bella. What do you think of that?
Also, do you think it "fits" with siblings Oliver, Clara and Tobias? Sorry about all the questions, but I very rarely find girls names that I really like for future children! Thank you very much in advance!

I like Thea but I prefer it pronounced as thee-ah. I like it as a nn for Anthea or Althea. Thea Bella is nice but I prefer Tayah Belle. ;)Cassie Anne (not Cassandra!)

I like it, but I pronounce it THEE-uh, like from Theadora / Theodora. It's not a common name, and I've only met one, but she pronounced it THEE-uh.Tea I would say TAY-uh. And I like that name too. I really dislike Bella, which I just find too saccharine sweet and diminutive. The other sib names are fine.

Thea's kind of cute, but I don't think you'll have much luck getting people to understand that it's pronounced Tay-A when most of the girls who use it pronounce it The-, like the end of Dorothea for instance.
If you like the Tay-A sound, I'd recommend just finding a spelling that reflects that sound, maybe Taya? Or Tea, like Tea Leoni?
And yes, it goes pretty well with Oliver, Clara and Tobias... as TheA.
As to middle names, I'd say, the simpler the beter. I'm no fan of Bella or Belle in general, but Tay-a Bella, kind of sounds to me like Italian restaurant. lol Maybe Lynn, Jean, Anne, or Marie.

I wasn't too sure if having the two t's in Tobias and Thea would work either...
I love the name Evelyn and I think Thea Evelyn is pretty. I don't like Gwendolen, though. Thank you very much!
